Dear Friends,                              January, 2012

As we move into 2012 we have six young men.  There are many goals we want to accomplish during this coming year.  We would love to expand the ministry into the neighborhoods, reach out to kids before they get into trouble.  We want to see these young people at the Ark accept the Saviour.

Enclosed are Lynne and my new prayer cards.  They were long time in coming.  Thank you for your patience with putting them together.

Over this past year we were able to visit and share the ministry with seventy-five churches.  The Ark’s support is up to where it is suppose to be.  Now all we have to raise is our personal support.  We have seen God provide for and take care of every need that has come along.

Please continue to pray for Trinity Baptist here in Spartanburg.  We are actively seeking a pastor.  The pulpit committee is close to God’s man.  Our interim pastor is doing a fine job, but we are ready for God’s pastor for our church.

Thanks to all that gave and helped in meeting physical needs of the Ark.  Thank you for those who sponsored young people to be here.  Thank you who brought foods and goods to the Ark.  The list would be just so over bearing to put into one letter.

Looking for Jesus to come this year.  We have so much to do before He comes for His children.  Stay faithful, stay focused, stay moving forward for Christ and His kingdom.  Our children depend on us for the guidance they need.  Let us show the Saviour to them.

Dear Folks, October 2011
God has been so good to the Ark during these last days. We have seen His power and convicting Spirit work in the saved and lost lives of our young men. We currently have five young men here now and are working with another young man out side the Ark. Some are under conviction, some are being strengthen in their faith. As always our goal is to be able to put them back home with the tools to live a right and godly life.

Pray for the Churches of America. With traveling over this last year we have seen many hurting and struggling churches. Satan’s attacks are real among God’s people. Continue to pray for our home church as we are looking and prying over a man of God to Pastor our church.

Mission Possible Camp went well. Pray for the young people that made decisions. God’s power in their lives will be tremendous blessing to all those around them. They seemed to have the abundance of energy and enthusiasm to serve the living God.

Work on the project house is coming along. Painting and fixing inside walls has been the focus lately. Power has been turned on so we can so some additional replacing of wood on the outside now. Prayerfully we will be able to finish soon and have it ready for sell. A special thank you goes out to a local electrician that worked hard to put the house in order to get the power on.

A special thank you goes out to a local church’s young people. They withstood the weather conditions to serve the Lord and accomplished a food drive for the Ark. What a blessing to see God working thru them to provide for the needs of others.

Pray as we enter into the inspection time of the year. Our DHEC and Fire officials should be coming between now and the end of the year to inspect our facility. These inspections determine our ability to stay open and work with young men. Thank you to all you that have continued to sponsor young people this year. It has been a big help in meeting the needs here at the Ark.

May the Lord richly bless you in all that you do for Him and His glory.

Looking for His coming,

Darel Finch

Dear Folks,                                May 2009

The school year is coming to a close for the 2008-2009 year.  We have two young men that are looking to graduate from High school and move forward to what God will have in store for them.  This is a major step for these young men and this makes them prime targets for the devil to destroy their lives.

We will be working with the decision making process for these young men.  There has been talk of moving forward into the college scene and of course God's will for them is very important.

The next few months will see Lynne and I traveling for the mission board retreat and for other needs.  We are praying for God's protection and souls for the labor.

We have began preparing for Mission Possible Camp, in NC.  This is always a great time to encourage young people to seek out God's will and have a surrendered heart for whatever He has for them.  So many young people have made some life changing decisions at these camps and r=are now in the ministry or preparing for the ministry at colleges around the country.  Pray how you can have some special young person involved in this special camp.  Information on the camp can be received from us or the mission board.

Thank you so much for the prayers and support that you faithfully give.  Without you this young people would not be receiving the hope of a great future in Christ.
